Essay Competition On World Population Day 2026
To commemorate World Population Day, an essay competition was held focusing on controlling population growth to conserve natural resources and safeguard the Earth. Students from various academic departments gathered in the main auditorium to write essays offering analytical solutions to overpopulation and resource sustainability. A panel of senior professors evaluated the submissions based on original thinking, clarity, and research depth. The college hosted an annual enrollment drive to warmly welcome incoming B.A. and B.Com Semester 1 students to campus. Can parents and families attend?
Yes. Annual days, prize distributions, sports days and inaugurations are open to families. Where seating is limited the institution sends a note home with the date and the number of seats held for each student.
Do I need to register beforehand?
Not for the open events. Guest lectures, workshops and camps that have a capacity are taken on a first-come basis through the institution office, and the notice for each one says so.
Where on the campus do events take place?
The seminar hall and the auditorium take the indoor programmes, and the main ground takes sports and the larger gatherings. Signage on the day points to the right block from the main gate.
Are photographs from the day published?
Photographs go into the campus gallery after each event, filed under the institution that ran it. Photographs of students are published only within the trust’s own pages.
Can an alumna or an outside organisation propose an event?
Yes. Write to the trust office with what you have in mind and which institution it would suit, and the office will put it to the committee that meets each month.
