The question every family asks in April. The honest answer is that both streams here lead somewhere, and the choice should follow the student rather than the neighbours.

Science

Suits a student who enjoys the laboratory and is willing to keep up with the practical work.

  • Leads to nursing
  • Leads to the degree colleges

Arts

Suits a student who reads and writes well.

  • Leads to teaching and to administration
  • Leads to the competitive examinations

Before the forms go in

Come and talk to the class teacher. They have taught the student for two years and will say what they think. The courses page lists what each college teaches.
