Which university is the college affiliated to?
Shree R. G. Patel College of Nursing is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. The G.N.M. programme follows the Gujarat Nursing Council examination system, and all four courses follow the syllabus and guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Which nursing programmes are offered?
Four: G.N.M., B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing. Together they run from diploma to postgraduate on one campus.
Is hostel accommodation available?
Yes. The Girls Nursing Hostel on the campus is a short walk from the college, with wardens on site and security around the clock.
Is there clinical placement for nursing students?
Yes. Clinical placement is part of every nursing programme. Students are posted to the college’s parent hospital, Bhagyoday Multispeciality Hospital, and to its affiliated government hospitals as required.
What financial help is available?
Government SC, ST, OBC and EWS scholarships cover the tuition fee and, for hostel students, the food bill, under government rules. Other scholarships, government assistance and education loans may be available to eligible nursing students.
