The trust
Run on donation, by the people it serves
The Mandal was founded in 1983 by Shree Kadva Patidar 27 Samaj Sudharak Mandal with the aim of promoting women’s education and empowerment. It began with hostel facilities for girls who had nowhere in Kadi to stay, and grew into the campus at Nanikadi.
- Registered with the Charity Commissioner under the Bombay Public Trusts Act. The trust takes no government grant and develops its projects on donation.
- Trustees handle management, finance and guidance themselves, and are active in other social service across the district.

The trust added an institution when the girls it already taught had nowhere to go next.

Shree Kadva Patidar 27 Samaj Sudharak Mandal families in and around Nanikadi register the Mandal to educate their daughters close to home, starting with a hostel.

Secondary and higher secondary
Kanya Vidhyalay carries students through standards 9 to 12, with science and commerce streams.

The schools open
The shishumandir and the primary schools take girls from their first year of nursery, in Gujarati medium.

The colleges
Nursing at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate level, and colleges of science, arts and commerce on the same grounds.
